Tested and certified by the IKO, the Sensor 4 can also be used to fly fixed-bridled kites such as the Pace Pro for the first time, as the all-new SFS+ ensures complete blowing out on just one frontline. And of course, it is also fully compatible with all other CORE models as well as many other kites on the market.
For the first time, it is possible to switch between a high V and a low V (or Y) in a matter of seconds. While all CORE kites are optimized for a high V, a deep V offers advantages for radical action with short lines under 20 meters.
With SFS+ and High/Low-V-Line Split, the Sensor 4 becomes more versatile and can be universally combined with many kites on the market.

The Sensor 4 Bar has received an IKO tested SFS+ Safety. When the Quick Release is activated, the bar moves immediately to the kite with both backlines and a frontline. The kite blows out without pressure on only one front line (safety line) without any residual pull. This safety is suitable for fixed bridled kites such as the Pace Pro as well as pulley bridled kites (all other CORE kite models). In combination with our 4:1 adjuster, this is one of the safest safety systems on the market.

The Sensor 4 Bar offers the possibility to switch between a low V and a high V (or Y). While all CORE kites are optimized for a high V, a deep V offers advantages for radical action with short lines from 12 meters and can be combined with many kites on the market. We recommend flying all CORE models with a high V.

Often copied, but never equaled. The Auto Untwist of the Sensor 4 ensures that you always have perfectly sorted front lines. Thanks to the extremely low-friction and low-wear ceramic ball bearing below the Quick Release, the Sensor 4 Bar always unscrews the lines immediately. Without any action on the part of the rider. The result: optimal power flows in every situation and outstanding durability in salt water and sand.

The force required to operate the adjuster is quartered by sophisticated deflections, allowing for smooth, precise angle adjustments with minimal effort, even in the strongest winds. The integrated elastic band automatically shortens the adjuster rope for added convenience.

The bar width of the Sensor 4 can be adjusted between 50 cm / 46.5 cm with a click of the finger. This is made possible by the rotatable control line suspension hidden in the bar ends. In this way, you can optimally adapt your Sensor 4 Pro to the entire size range.

The ISO-certified CORE Intuitive-Connect QR is designed to work effectively even in the most critical situations and can be intuitively released under load as well as with sagging lines. The QR body is made of carbon-fiber-reinforced high-performance plastic and V4A steel at its core. The revised cap of the QR offers a good grip without the risk of accidentally getting caught with the wetsuit. After a trigger, the system is ready for use again in a flash with just one click. The revised locking mechanism with green marking line for easier control prevents false triggering due to loops that are not clicked in correctly.

From the beginning in 2020, we have been actively involved in standardizing Quick Release safety requirements under the guidance of the GKA. The ISO standard 21853:2020 introduced during this process specifies release force requirements not only for dry conditions, but also in challenging situations such as heavy sand, high loads, and extreme temperatures. In addition, the material thickness and color have been determined to clearly signal to riders and helpers, regardless of the brand, how to operate the Quick Release in any situation.
This standardized testing process ensures that all manufacturers meet the same rigorous safety requirements, resulting in higher-quality products and real value for customers. Only after successful testing by the independent Fraunhofer Institute in Rostock according to the ISO 21853:2020 requirements, Quick Releases receive the certificate.
At CORE bars, this certification is marked with engravings on both the chicken stick and the Quick Release of the Safety Leash, providing visible proof of compliance and reliability.

All CORE bars are supplied with the ISO-compliant Short Safety Leash as standard. At only 55 centimeters, it is pleasantly short, yet elastic for comfortable hooking, and guarantees that the release mechanism is always within easy reach of the rider's field of vision at the front of the harness. If you want to ride unhooked, you can alternatively combine the longer CORE Pro Leash with the Sensor 4 Pro Bar.

In the middle of the bar, the depower lines run from an insert with double channel guide through the spar in an orderly manner. The special material acts like lubricant on the coated linen. In the event of wear, the insert can be easily replaced.

CORE Sensor 4 Pro Bar – test
The new CORE Sensor 4 Pro has arrived at our kite center in Sicily, and we took it straight to the water. The first rides were more about getting a feel for it and fine-tuning the setup, but within minutes it was clear – this is no ordinary bar. Light, precise, and with the feeling that your kite is connected directly to your hands. Core really nailed it here.
CORE Pace (12 m) – now in testing
