Foil Drive Assist MAX integrated into North Sonar mast 80cm - your perfect foil set with electric drive. With the North mast (leg), it creates the perfect combination of electric drive and cutting-edge design for an unforgettable experience on and above the water.
Introducing the Foil Drive Assist MAX fully integrated into the North mast – a revolutionary device that will take your foiling to a whole new level! This unique system includes a North Sonar AF80 (cm) aluminum mast with a pre-installed Foil Drive motor. You can choose from three motor placement positions. If you want a full E-Foil experience, choose the motor located at the very bottom - close to the fuselage. Or are you looking for assistance with wing/pump/downwind foiling? The motor position at a distance of 20 cm or 15 cm from the board (from above) will provide you with ideal support and help with starting and will no longer interfere with levitation in the water. You will experience a feeling of lightness and freedom.
Thanks to the integrated motor in the mast, installation is a breeze and the ride characteristics reach an unprecedented level. No insulation and gluing the cable to the mast from the outside! The motor is perfectly hidden with internal cable routing, so you hardly notice it when riding with or without the drive. Enjoy smooth foiling with the bonus of electric assistance that will never let you down.
The North Sonar mast, made of refined aluminum, is a masterpiece. Lightweight yet extremely strong, ready to handle even the highest loads. Its unique GeoLock system with conical geometry ensures a solid connection between the mast and the fuselage, as if they were one unit.
Please note: The motor is firmly fixed in the selected position and cannot be moved or replaced. The Foil Drive Assist MAX is not just a product – it is your key to the ultimate adventure on the water.

- Real endurance is around 1-2 hours for normal hybrid foiling, e.g. when assisting on waves or in calm water.

The actual range varies depending on the discipline (surf, wing, downwind) and the intensity of engine use - for example, it decreases faster at full power.
