What Stood Out in the Construction

Warranty and Service
Core offers a six-month warranty on the bar, and if you register it on their website, they’ll extend it to two years. To keep the warranty valid, the bar must be supplied complete – with original lines, pigtails, chicken loop, and leash. Spare parts are available for at least six years, so even after years of use, you can easily keep your Sensor 4 Pro in top condition.

Certified according to ISO 21853 and approved by the IKO, the Sensor 4 can also be used to fly fixed-bridled kites such as the Pace and Pace Pro for the first time, as the all-new SFS+ ensures complete blowing out on just one frontline. And of course, it is also fully compatible with all other CORE models as well as many other kites on the market.
For the first time, it is possible to switch between a high V and a low V (or Y) in a matter of seconds. While all CORE kites are optimized for a high V, a deep V offers advantages for radical action with short lines under 20 meters.

The Sensor 4 Bar has received an IKO tested SFS+ Safety. When the Quick Release is activated, the bar moves immediately to the kite with both backlines and a frontline. The kite blows out without pressure on only one front line (safety line) without any residual pull. This safety is suitable for fixed bridled kites such as the Pace Pro as well as pulley bridled kites (all other CORE kite models). In combination with our 4:1 adjuster, this is one of the safest safety systems on the market.

The result: optimal power flows in every situation and outstanding durability in salt water and sand.

The ISO-certified CORE Intuitive-Connect QR is designed to work effectively even in the most critical situations and can be intuitively released under load as well as with sagging lines. The QR body is made of carbon-fiber-reinforced high-performance plastic and V4A steel at its core. The revised cap of the QR offers a good grip without the risk of accidentally getting caught with the wetsuit. After a trigger, the system is ready for use again in a flash with just one click. The revised locking mechanism with green marking line for easier control prevents false triggering due to loops that are not clicked in correctly.
To attach your Safety Leash, the Sensor 4 Pro comes with the Combo Ring. This also allows riding in "Suicide Mode".

From the beginning in 2020, we have been actively involved in standardizing Quick Release safety requirements under the guidance of the GKA. The ISO standard 21853:2020 introduced during this process specifies release force requirements not only for dry conditions, but also in challenging situations such as heavy sand, high loads, and extreme temperatures. In addition, the material thickness and color have been determined to clearly signal to riders and helpers, regardless of the brand, how to operate the Quick Release in any situation.
This standardized testing process ensures that all manufacturers meet the same rigorous safety requirements, resulting in higher-quality products and real value for customers. Only after successful testing by the independent Fraunhofer Institute in Rostock according to the ISO 21853:2020 requirements, Quick Releases receive the certificate.
At CORE bars, this certification is marked with engravings on both the chicken stick and the Quick Release of the Safety Leash, providing visible proof of compliance and reliability.

The Sensor 4 Pro Bar in the Compact version has a shorter bar with a width of 45 cm. The rotatable control line suspension hidden in the bar ends allows the width of the bar to be reduced again to 41.5cm. With two advantages: smaller kites can be controlled more precisely when wave kiting, for example, and larger gliders can be taxed less easily by freestylers.

At only 55 centimeters , it is pleasantly short, yet elastic for comfortable hooking, and guarantees that the release mechanism is always within easy reach of the rider's field of vision at the front of the harness. If you want to ride unhooked, you can alternatively combine the longer CORE Pro Leash with the Sensor 4 Pro Bar.

The floaters are positioned a few centimeters above the bar, unattached, providing a unique, smooth, and dynamic sensor control experience. Their new shape enhances the bar's floatability with increased volume. An inner grip surface ensures an intuitive and direct hold for easier kite relaunching. In the middle of the bar, the depower lines run from an insert with double channel guide through the spar in an orderly manner. The special material acts like lubricant on the coated linen. In the event of wear, the insert can be easily replaced.

A bar is only as good as the quality of its individual parts. This is exactly why we rely on high-performance polymers made in Germany for all components. Extreme stiffness, low frictional resistance and excellent dimensional stability are the hallmarks of these high-performance plastics.
Titanium has a similar resilience to steel, but at the same time is much lighter and corrosion resistant. That's exactly why the core of the Barholm, as well as some other parts, is made of this high-tech material. Marine Grade A4 stainless steel is used for the metal components, the ultimate in maritime applications.
